It’s been quite a while now since SEO experts and industry leaders have speculated about Google’s PageRank status bar. Many people are expecting it to “die” and become irrelevant for small businesses. In fact the Google PageRank toolbar was never even offered to Google Chrome and was removed from Firefox back in 2011. It seems obvious that this toolbar is coming to a quiet end to everyone, but there is one differing opinion that stands out—Matt Cutts. As usual, this leaves many questions to be analyzed: Is the Google Toolbar left relevant on any browser, and if not, why is Matt Cutts so resistant to let it go? On a different note, is the PageRank number even still important anymore and where can you go to find it?
