Google Street View is a service that lets you see panoramic views at a 360 degree angle of places all over the world. Google has announced today that Street View is available in 50 countries around the world. Hungary was the 49th country and Lesotho was the 50th country, according to the Google Maps blog. Street View started in 2007 with just 5 cities and it has grown exponentially since then.
Today’s update is the largest single update of Street View imagery that was ever pushed by the Google Maps team, which includes 350,000 miles of roads across 14 countries. Today they also expanded their coverage in Poland, Romania, and other locations.
